Diagnosis in osteopathic medicine is carried out in an integral way that we call “anamnesis”.
Through this procedure we verify the patient’s way of life, psychological state, biological indicators, clinical history, eating habits and the medication the patient takes; these indicators are fundamental for the final assessment.
In the physical examination we assess the patient’s general condition, physiological curvatures, neurological, joint and myofascial tests, temperature and skin texture in order to carry out a more conclusive examination.
If at the end of the anamnesis we verify that the patient’s priority is another medical specialty, they will be advised in that sense.
